OTEC Germany Factory

OTEC USA

World-Class Supplier of Mass Finishing Equipment and Supplies

OTEC USA is the exclusive North American partner of OTEC Precision Finish GmbH. OTEC was founded in Southern Germany in 1996. Over the past 20+ years, OTEC has grown from a small manufacturer of polishing machines for the local jewelry and watchmaking industry to become a truly global player and technology leader specializing in mass finishing machines, precision finishing machines, centrifugal disc finishing machines, surface finishing machines and drag finishing machines. At the company’s head office in Germany, OTEC now has approximately 100 employees at its administration, research and production facility.

OTEC partners with clients across a variety of industries, with a focus on the automotive, pharmaceutical, aerospace, tooling and electrical industries, as well as companies that require stamped, turned, and machined parts or ceramic and plastic components, in which precision surfaces in the micron range have now become essential.

Additionally, OTEC places great emphasis on providing excellent customer service to our clients. With a global distribution network of more than 40 partners, a reliable and knowledgeable partner is always available to provide service locally. All of OTEC’s deburring, grinding, smoothing and polishing machines are made in Germany and are known for their smooth operation, long service life and high-quality workmanship.

The great success of OTEC’s machine technology is partly thanks to a revolution in areas previously dominated by manual finishing processes. OTEC’s machines enable a perfect surface finish to be achieved through a mechanized process – with greater precision and more consistent quality than can be obtained through hand polishing. Such smooth surfaces, defined edge rounding and perfect, mirror-finish surfaces have become more important than ever in many industries. This process reduces friction, which in turn saves energy and dramatically increases the service life of tools and equipment.
